Robert Gordon University
I am retained by Robert Gordon University (Aberdeen) to assist them in auditing the progress of a major (£115M) Campus masterplan through OGC gateways. I provide independent outside critique to the Senior Management team and advise them regarding their readiness to proceed through project and RIBA workstages.
Glasgow University
I was engaged by the University of Glasgow to help them plan out the strategic preparatory work for their in-house specialists as they began to develop their multi-million City Centre Campus masterplan.
Association of University Directors of Estates – (AUDE)
I provided a training workshop aimed at Senior Estates staff who were planning to develop campus masterplans. This workshop was aimed at setting out the strategic work needed of Senior staff who would need to understand both the technical and political aspects of working with Planning & Development Control officers in local authorities.

WS Stevenson & Sons
WS Stevenson & Sons owns and operates the largest remaining trawler fleet in the UK, based at Newlyn. I was appointed by the International Centre for Families in Business as an independent advisor on property matters. My remit was to act as a intermediary in assessing the value of the businesses property portfolio. My role was then to consider strategically the ways in which the 3rd generation of the family business could share ownership of the assets and to devise a fair attribution of values amongst the business partners.
FD Hall & Son
FD Hall & son is a small family owned and run business making specialist joinery and building contracting services. I am the Non-exec chairman of this company, appointed by the family in conjunction with The International Centre for Families in Business. My role is to help prepare the business for transfer over to the 3rd generation of the family, and to provide mentoring support for the incoming Directors.

I am a strategic adviser to Provelio aiming to help them target their services towards the Public Sector and Higher Education. I provide background experience to them as they develop their service offering and also attend new client meetings to help in the development of new business.
Provelio Partnership
In partnership with Provelio I have been awarded a commission by the Higher Education Funding Council for England, HEFCE, to write a strategic Project Management manual which will focus on the need to define and deliver benefits from projects – adopting a methodology based upon the OGC framework.
